To Draw Financial and Personal Strength & Positivity

This spell works very well to draw security, strength, and optimism into any area of your life. It might be required for financial certainty or as a general wish, or for a new relationship just getting off the ground which you want to progress with confidence and optimism.

You will need:
A brick red ribbon or cord
Frankinsence, Sandalwood or Bay oil (or a blend of all three)
A handful of oak leaves
Your choice of candles
A crystal
A wooden or silver chalice filled with rainwater
7 long stems of different-colored flowers (whatever is in season)

Moon phase: Waxing

Prepare by taking an oak bath. Tie the brick-red ribbon or cord around the faucets to "color" and power the water, and run the bath, adding 6-8 drops each of two or three of the oils at the end, and finally floating the oak leaves around the bath. Bathe by candlelight -- the size, number, and color of the candles can be absolutely your own choice.

As you soak up the lovely leaves, envision exactly what it is you hope for. Slide down into the water and close your eyes; see if you can "feel" a kind of force field around you, and visualize yourself victorious in your hopes within the power and light of this tremendous energy. Breathe in the oils, and say,

"Charge my spirit, cleanse my soul;
Fill my life with happiness whole."

Take in the ideas and fill your senses from the eyes, the nose, the skin, the ears: This is the sweet smell of success! After your bath, sit in the candlelight and place the crystal into the rainwater-filled chalice, once again seeing security and continuance of all you hold dear -- even an improvement in your affairs -- but hold on tight to the one special thing you wish for.

If this concerns money and business, see steady success, rather than greedy piles of profit! Sure steps are what you are asking for. If your spell primarily concerns a relationship growing more secure, don't immediately expect commitments, but see a steady growth of communication, trust, interest, depth of feeling, and confidence. If you like, imagine you see all this in the ether of the light or in the crystal and chalice.

Finally, place the chalice (with the crystal inside) next to the flowers, and imagine all seven -- the rainbow of colors -- filling the cup with every shade of knowledge, growth, and strength. Untie the ribbon from around the bath faucets, and place it around the chalice. Make a small, personally worded prayer for steady judgement and growing positivity.

Leave the items in place for 24 hours, and repeat the spell once more when the moon is again waxing -- perhaps a month (or two) later. The power supply of positivity around you is now at its fullest.
